The Bush School of Government and Public Service Honors Sherry Smith
On May 13, 2022, The Bush School of Government & Public Service honored one of our very own, Ms. Sherry Smith, Custodian, Crew Y. This is a very prestigious and deserving award for the hard work and dedication she shows in her work at the Allen building.
Sherry joined SSC Custodial in June of 2021 and in this short time she has developed friendships and comradery with the faculty and staff in the Bush School. This says a lot about Sherry’s personality and her commitment to provide outstanding customer service.
This was a huge surprise for Sherry as she thought she was being given a tour of the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Presidential Conference Center. She had asked about seeing the inside of this building, so it was well planned by her supervisor, Mary Richardson and members if the BSGPS planning members to get her there for this surprise award.
This PSAA Staff Silver Star award was given to Sherry during the Class of 2022 Graduation Celebration at the Presidential Conference Center and SSC is so proud of Sherry and this amazing recognition.
